Mother was the necessity of invention

When my mother moved into an aged care facility, she no longer had access to all her old photos albums and framed photos and so missed those memories. I was conscious that not only would she no longer see these, but the details about the people and circumstances would be lost for ever. I therefore started to collect all those old photos, her old documents and slides, and scanned them, then restored them while taking record of the people, the time, and places, before putting them together in a printed book that she could easily access at any time.

My mother was absolutely delighted with her book and when other residents saw it wanted one of their own. As such, I set up MiVuw to provide this service to anyone that wanted to capture and retain their own life story.

MiVuw was Founded in Brisbane in 2016.
